Information
After its success at Formula 1 Mecanica Argentina (an Argentine F1 championship inspired by F1), Oreste Berta decided to build an F1 car for international championship, using a F5000 as base car.
Developed for 1975 F1 season, it was intended to debut at the 1975 Argentine Grand Prix.
Originally fitted with a Berta V8 engine, but as it wasn's as competitive and reliable as the rest, Oreste contacted Wilson Fittipaldi asking for a Cosworth DFV engine. However, the conditions said by Wilson didn't convinced Oreste, which ended up in the withdrawn from the races.
