Originally built as a Mulliner Fastback but was later converted to a Drophead Coupé by Henri Chapron after its Portuguese owner rolled the car in 1956. The rear half was rebuilt in 2005 to look exactly as it had been conceived originally by H. J. Mulliner.
Ian Fleming’s inspiration for the Locomotive, a car purchased by James Bond in the 1961 novel 'Thunderball'.
