Information
Precursor to the Bugatti Veyron.
The Hunaudières' name pays homage to the famous straight of Circuit de la Sarthe.
First time a car from the marque had featured a mid-mounted engine and four-wheel drive. This prototype car was based on a Lamborghini Diablo VT chassis, later Bentley would develop a special chassis to cope with the 600 Bhp W-16 engine they plan to use in the production car.
Bentley imagined they would produce around 300 models at a price of £250,000, but the VW leadership decided that Bentley should continue to focus on sedans and luxury coupes.
