Auburn Speedster 851SC by Bohman & Schwartz
Originally owned by Barbara Hutton, who bought it for her husband Prince Alexis Mdivani, this Auburn Speedster later passed to publicist Alan Gordon, who commissioned Bohman & Schwartz to create its distinctive streamlined body. After several U.S. owners, E. W. Price restored its front to 1935 specification while retaining most custom features. The car remained with David R. Kerr for 28 years before moving to the UK in 1989. Fully restored in 2011, it survives as a rare, bespoke example of a classic American Speedster.
