Information
Originally delivered Silver Birch over Blue Leather.
Post leaving the factory on the 17th of May 1966, this DB6 was one of three cars send to Williams and Pritchard for P214 inspired minor body and functional changes, this work was completed over 1966 before being dispatched to UK dealer, H.R. Owen in February 1967.
The car was purchased in 1985 with the owner at the time storing it away intending to undertake a restoration, although was quickly sold on in 1986 to an engineer based in The Blue Mountains, NSW who dismantled the car in 1991 and began to undertake a full restoration.
The restoration was completed in 1996, with the owner accounting 3,110 man hours invested in the process.
The bodywork was restored and refinished in a lighter shade of the original Silver Birch, and re-trimmed the leather interior in Tan Leather.
Mechanically, the engine was fully rebuilt and air conditioning was decided to be installed at this time.
Post restoration, the car had merely travelled, covering 1,500 km before being placed into dry storage, and sold in 2011.
In 2022, the sixth owner of this vehicle commissioned Concours Sportscar of Tuggerah, NSW to complete a full exterior restoration, including repainting to the original factory colour of Silver Birch, restoring all chrome work, badging, bumper bars, all rubber seals, exterior lighting and alighting the body to be up to specification.
