Information
First Sanction Washboard sports saloon
The first production DB2 completed, as recognized by AMOC, and the first delivered to the U.S.
In the summer of 1950, the first owner was on holiday at the Carlton Hotel in Cannes, France, as none other than David Brown arrived in his DB2 prototype. Smitten with the car at first sight, he introduced himself and before long the two had a handshake deal for him to buy a production car.
