Information
This car has created one of the most famous memes in F1. At 2021 Monaco Grand Prix, when Sebastian Vettel (in another AMR21) exited the pitlane, he went side by side with Pierre Gasly. As people were eager to know who's ahead, the director played a replay of Lance Stroll touching the wall and cutting a corner and missed the overtake. The commentator David Croft said 'What has happened? We need to know who's gonna come out in front!'
This was a result of the deal of F1 with Monaco GP that the broadcast of Monaco GP used to conducted by the locals, so the crucial moments were always missed. This clip has become a popular meme as 'Lance Stroll interrupts everything' or 'StROLLed', when another clip comes to a crucial moment, Stroll cuts the corner again and interrupts it. The intro of replay, with Stroll himself and a green background, has also become a meme.
Later the car was repainted in AMR22 and AMR23 liveries with yellow accents rather than AMR21's pink ones. It was used as a test car, driven by Zak O'Sullivan and Jessica Hawkins, who's the first female driver to drive a very modern F1 car.
