Modifications
A stainless steel exhaust by Langford fitted in 1980, and telescopic Koni shock absorbers adapted in 1990 to replace the original Armstrong lever shock absorbers.
The engine was replaced before its departure to Australia with an identical engine from the DBS (chassis number DBS/5675/R, engine number 4752), and the manufacturer’s plate was remade with the new engine number (but inexplicably 4732 was inscribed).
