Information
One of the dozen 1931 Alfa Corse team cars. Believed to be the Corto raced at the 1931 Mille Miglia #104 Nuvolari DNF. Sold or loaned to Scuderia Ferrari and registered MO 5111. Raced by Ferrari to win the 1931 Bobbio-Pernice, Borzacchini finished third at the Pontedicimo Giovi Hillclimb, Marinoni 6th at the Susa Moncenisio and so on. Eventually to Enrico Antomazzi. Later rebodied, possibly by Bertone, eventually to Jean Studer in Switzerland in 1947 and finally to Maurice Karlen in 1949. Finally the car passed to Charly Jacques and its chassis was donated to the Swiss Museum of Transport and Comms in Lucerne. Recently the chassis was restored by Max Hahn although it remains without bodywork
