Information
The final Courage LC70-series monocoque was produced and delivered straight to Acura/HPD for use in the ARX-01 program. Unlike earlier LC70 tubs, it never raced as a Courage—its first and only competitive identity was as an Acura ARX-01b. Assigned to Highcroft Racing for the 2008 ALMS season, the chassis ran in LMP2 specification with Acura’s V8 engine and Wirth Research’s bodywork package. Throughout its life it remained an ARX-01, carrying the original Courage LC70-12 plaque but never returning to LC70 configuration, making it one of the pure Acura-built cars in the ARX-01 lineup.
