YTG was founded on the simple principles of loving what you do and enjoying the journey with like-minded car enthusiasts all in the name of cool, classic, exotic, bespoke, rare and most of all loved cars from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s 00’s special automobiles.
After many years at the highest levels in HNW automotive we thought if we can provide a service that stems from our passion, knowledge and love of cars for our existing like-minded and soon new clients in a whole new way of doing things and to do it our way “a piece from here and a piece from there” then add the YTG spin, then why not?
The team at YTG have over 150+ combined years of experience and intel at the highest levels of the automotive industry both here and internationally and can source anything from the highest of Hyper cars i.e 918W, LaF, P1 etc to the very best VK Brock Blue Meanie home grown muscle and everything in between or on either side that is special different and unique.

Shaun Baker, an Australian of Indian descent, is a lifetime motor trader based out of Melbourne, VIC, Australia.
During Baker's tenure in the automotive industry, he has held positions in plenty of high volume automotive dealerships in Australia, including Lorbek Luxury Cars, and the former Rick Damelian of Sydney.
Notably, Baker was involved in the set up in Neville Kreighton's Ferrari/ Maserati Sydney in the late 2000's, a large facility in growth from the previous Sydney based Ferrari & Maserati dealers of Italia Motori.
This was a key time for the company's growth in Australia, given the country had come out of 2008's Gloabal Finacial Crisis stronger than most nations around the world, and Ferrari had introduced two brand new models in this period, one being the all new entry-level GT "California" and industry leading 458 Italia, a car many agreed to be a game changing vehicle for mainstream production supercars of this era.
Baker's most notorious for his roll as General Manager for Australia's largest boutique supercar dealership - Dutton Garage. As owner's (George Nakas, and Gavin Fernandez's) man man post their purchase & new location, Baker held the position over the late 2010's, a period that saw massive growth for the ultra high end car market, and a period that saw many cars imported into Australia that typically never would, most of these being brought in by the Dutton Garage team.
Post moving on from Dutton Garage, Baker was re-introduced to Lorbek Luxury Cars by his former employer, Sreko Lorbek, during his time at Lorbek he held many senior positions, including the shortly held position of General Manager of Koenigsegg Austral-Asia, including the re-introduction of Koenigsegg to the Australian market, a brand that Baker now holds dearly.
Come to the 2020's and Baker is now the owner of YTG (Young Timer's Garage) aka, the shed in Keysborough, an exotic car dealership specialising in his personal era of cars - the young timers, less of the contemporary mega cars, and more driver focused and blue chip sports cars.
Baker is the face of the business, and is a host of the YTG podcast alongside YTG's in house social media manager and photographer - Nico French.
