We started Trade Classics to bring trust, clarity, and care back to classic car sales.

 Too many great cars were being poorly presented, poorly protected, and pushed through platforms that prioritised volume over care. We believed there was a better way, one that treated every car as an individual asset, every seller as a valued client, and every buyer as a serious enthusiast. What began in 2011 as a free classified site quickly evolved into something far more personal, because the people using it wanted more than just a listing, they wanted confidence. 

Every car is photographed professionally and described in a clear, honest, and comprehensive way highlighting condition, provenance, and imperfections where they exist. We verify every visitor, bidder, and seller, run HPI checks as standard, and manage the entire process end-to-end so sellers save time and buyers can bid with genuine confidence. 

We launched our auction platform in 2017 with an approach that was genuinely different, and still hasn’t been matched. Today, we are the most trusted classic car marketplace in the UK (4.9* rated), built on the principle that everyone should walk away feeling rewarded, not frustrated, when a great car changes hands.
