Founded in 1996, Oldtimer Australia is a boutique business based in Brisbane, Australia focused on matching buyers and sellers of high end or unique sports, racing and classic cars.
We can help you to find or sell a classic car through our extensive network both within Australia and overseas. Many deals are discretely done by matching a buyer and a seller from our database and network. We regularly travel throughout Australia and will consign your vehicle from wherever you are. Additionally, we regularly purchase cars outright and will always pay a fair market price for your car.
Oldtimer Australia was founded in Brisbane by Terry Healy. Terry has been a car guy since university days in the early 1970′s, and in the last thirty years developed a successful business dealing in sports, racing and classic cars for enthusiasts and collectors alike. An inveterate traveller, Terry has travelled the world in pursuit of the cars he is so passionate about. Be it Australia, the USA, Europe, or South America Terry amassed an enviable database worldwide of dealers, collectors and car guys. He has spent extended periods in Europe and more recently the USA dealing in classic cars, and has supported Mark to develop Oldtimer Australia to the business it is today.

In October 2011 Mark and Michelle Jansen purchased Oldtimer Australia from Terry and Suzanne Healy.
Mark embarked on a lifestyle change having spent the previous 25 years in the corporate world in senior executive roles in the engineering services industry. Mark is a ‘car guy’ and has basically turned a hobby into a hobby business . . .‘living the dream’ some might say! Michelle’s background in E-Commerce ably complements the business.
Mark and Michelle have their own significant collection of cars including marques such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche, Monteverdi, some very rare and interesting micro cars and a 1923 Rolls Royce. They are actively involved with various car clubs and motoring events both within Australia and overseas. Mark was the President of The Lamborghini Club of Australia for many years. They have a strong passion for classics cars which has developed during the past 30 years via regular visits to major car events and concours d’elegances, manufacturer’s assembly plants and show rooms throughout the world that enables them to keep in contact with the market and ultimately helps Oldtimer Australia to go from strength to strength.
