Bio
Alexander Frei (born June 20, 1954, in Solothurn, Switzerland) is a Swiss former racing driver and entrepreneur. He began his career after training as a micromechanic and micro-engineer. Frei competed mainly in GT and sports car racing in the 2000s. He achieved notable success in the Le Mans Endurance Series, where he and his teammate won the LMP2 class championship in 2004. Over his career, he raced with teams such as Courage Compétition and participated in events including the 24 Hours of Spa and 24 Hours of Le Mans. Outside of racing, he became a successful businessman and later took over the Egli Motorradtechnik AG motorcycle company.
