The Dean Kronsbein Collection

Dean Kronsbein, a British businessman with a collection of classic Bentleys and Rolls-Royces. He was known to the public by featuring in the show Richard Hammond's Workshop, in which he commissioned Hammond to restore his Bentley R-Type Drophead Coupe by Mulliner. With only three cars ever built, Kronsbein owned both of the remaining cars.

Kronsbein passed away in a yacht accident in 2023, before the restoration of his R-Type could be finished. It was retrieved from Hammond's workshop by Kronsbein's family. 

A part of his collection was auctioned by RM Sotheby's in London in 2024, including the other R-Type Drophead Coupe by Mulliner.
