Bart Rosman (1938-2021) was a prominent Dutch mechanical engineer, classic car historian, and collector renowned for his deep expertise in pre-war Bugattis and early Ferrari sports racers.
Based in Hilversum, Netherlands, Rosman was a dedicated figure in European historic motoring. Over several decades, he curated a world-class private collection that included rare, highly original automobiles, most notably a 1951 Ferrari 340 America Barchetta by Touring (which raced at Le Mans and Daytona) and the 1931 Bugatti Type 43 Grand Sport 'Prima Donna'.
Beyond collecting, Rosman actively raced vintage machinery in events across Europe, including the Historic Grand Prix of Monaco behind the wheel of Grand Prix Bugattis.
