OB Prestige Auto was the car dealership and collection of Gatineau, Quebec-based entrepreneur Olivier Benloulou.

In 2004, Mr. Benloulou co-founded Ideal Protein with Dr. Tran Tien Chanh. Ideal Protein specialized in the manufacturing and sale of dietetic products including supplements to help customers lose weight. For many years, Mr. Benloulou served as President & CEO of the company. In 2012, Mr. Benloulou founded OB Prestige Auto, a pre-owned luxury car dealership. 

Over the years, Mr. Benloulou, under the OB Prestige Auto brand, amassed an impressive private car collection. The collection included, at various times, a Pagani Huayra, Huayra Roadster, and Huayra Roadster BC, a Koenigsegg Agera RS and Regera, Bugatti Chiron, McLaren Senna, Ferrari 599 GTO and F12tdf, and lots more.

According to bankruptcy filings, Pharmalab, Ideal Protein and Laboratoires COP (three parts composing the same company) began encountering some financial issues in 2018. These difficulties accelerated during the COVID-19 pandemic, and continued to spiral downwards in the following years. Audits for the 2022 fiscal year showed liabilites exceeding assets by more than US$100 million, and 2022 revenue had fallen 53% from revenue five years prior. As of August 2023, Pharmalab and Ideal Protein had in excess of US$200 million in debt and sought protection from creditors. At the same time, 152 employees, more than half the company s workforce, was laid off. 

The downfall of Pharmalab and Ideal Protein closely coincide with the fall from grace of OB Prestige Auto, and the sale by Mr. Benloulou of his vast exotic car collection.
