About

The secrecy surrounding this incredible Chicago-based car collection comes with some great stories. In 2019, the McLaren F1 LM in this collection was displayed at The Quail at Monterey Car Week under an interesting owner's name: Frank Martin. Mr. Martin, however, does not exist. Instead, Frank Martin is a character from 'The Transporter' movie franchise, played by Jason Statham. The name was chosen, in good humor, to protect the privacy of the owner of the collection, an infamously reclusive options trader and investor in Chicago. Though their owner maintains his privacy carefully, the cars in the collection are driven and shared relatively openly under the banner of Mouse Motors, a boutique supercar dealer.

This collection is one of, if not the, biggest McLaren collections in the world. It includes not one, not two, but five McLaren F1s: Road car chassis 001, an F1 LM, an F1 HDK, and two F1 GTRs, including one longtail. There are also five McLaren P1s, each special by themselves: P1 'Senna Edition', P1 'Alain Prost Edition', a P1 LM, P1 HDK, and a P1 GT. There is a McLaren Sabre, McLaren Speedtail, and McLaren Elva, all matching each other with an fully exposed carbon body finish. The collection also includes countless well-preserved McLaren race cars, spanning nearly the entire history of the constructor dating back to the 1960s.

Outside of McLarens, the collection is home to an ultra-rare Jaguar XJR-14, as well as the iconic XJR-15. Also included are various Porsches, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and more, with the total scope of the collection in the hundred(s) of cars.
