The collection of the two brothers that own the famous supermarket chain called Grand Frais
Bio
Léo and Patrick Bahadourian have business in their blood. The family saga goes back to grandfather Gabriel, who arrived in France in 1928. A family marked by the Armenian genocide of 1915, which drove these wealthy breeders from Anatolia to the Jordanian desert and Lebanon. Back in Turkey in 1918, but with nothing, Gabriel married a merchant's daughter. After a visit to his brother, who had immigrated to France, he settled in Lyon in 1928 and opened an Oriental grocery store that gradually expanded. His son Arthur took over the wholesale business, while another of his sons, Armand, took over the retail side. Léo and Patrick, the third generation, continue the family tradition. Their grocery group is best known as a partner of the Grand Frais chain. From Switzerland, these two brothers from Lyon retain 40% of their grocery group (sales: 500 million), a partner of the Grand Frais retail chain, as well as its real estate assets.
