Gosford Classic Cars
Gosford, New South Wales, Australia
About
At its peak, one of the largest collections of classic, modern and collectable cars in the world. Based out of a former Bunnings (hardware store) warehouse, Tony Denny (motor trader and property developer) opened this collection to the public in 2016, coinciding with his personal investment in the NSW Central Coast region. Starting off as 'Gosford Classic Car Museum', the venue was a ticketed collection open to the public, with 'everything available for purchase'. Due to friction with the Australian Tax Office, the collection had to change its approach and become 'Gosford Classic Cars' as they were, in reality, a motor trader. Due to these frictions and changes, Gosford Classic Cars closed in 2019 as it was no longer a profitable venture, with most cars being either auctioned off via Lloyd's Auctions at the Gosford venue, or consigned to local car dealers / brokers.
Bio
Tony Denny, an Australian motor trader by day, has made his living out of car trading / dealerships in Eastern Europe.
