Eric Clapton's Car Collection

Eric Clapton is a British rock and blues guitarist, singer-songwriter, often regarded as one of the most successful and influential guitarists in rock music.

Clapton's music career has spanned decades with some of the most iconic guitar pieces in rock music, and is most known outside of his own work for his membership in various bands, including Cream and Derek and the Dominos, amongst others.

Clapton is known for his love of collecting Ferraris in particular, most notably his Ferrari SP12EC, a custom vehicle built for him in 2010 by Ferrari's in- house Special Projects department. Based on the underpinnings of one of the company's most successful contemporary models, the 458 Italia, with styling queues harking back to the 512 BBs of the '80s.

Clapton had a brief cameo on Top Gear Season 19, Episode 4, where he performed live guitar solos of Derek and the Dominos song 'Layla' and Cream's 'Sunshine of Your Love' through the audio system of a reasonably-priced Kia Cee'd.
