Bio
Clay Regazzoni (1939-2006) was a Swiss Formula One racing driver. He debuted with Ferrari in 1970, winning the Italian Grand Prix in his first season. Over his career he achieved 5 F1 victories and finished second in the 1974 World Championship. In 1979, he gave Williams their first Grand Prix win. A crash in 1980 left him paralyzed, but he remained active in motorsport and advocacy. He died in a road accident in 2006.
