Hans-Georg Plaut was a German engineer and economist known as a pioneer in the field of work science and industrial rationalization in the early 20th century. He developed methods for work analysis and evaluation that significantly improved efficiency in industrial production. He was also a racing driver who raced in the 50s and 60s with a Porsche 356, Ferrari 250 GT SWB, Jaguar E Type and Fiat Abarth 1000.
