Bugatti Type 43 Grand Sport Tourer 43258 (43291)

First property of Crown Prince Leopold of Belgium. Thanks to his royal status and his close friendship with the Bugatti family, the Crown Prince was treated as a VIP in Molsheim and enjoyed certain privileges. The factory agreed to put on his new T43 the plate removed from one of its old T43s in order to keep the same Belgian registration documents and thus avoid having to make a new customs declaration and pay customs duties.
